Reading (All levels)

The importance of being a reader cannot be over emphasized. Ever since the technological uprise, books and reading have begun to fade into a regrettable process of extinction. At The Tutoring Place we introduce children to reading as an intimate relationship of connections between, the author, the reader, and the ideas shared by the former. Today, teachers report poor reading skills as one of the primary complaints when working with children of all ages. College students complain about the challenge of tackling the reading portion of any class syllabus. Let us reintroduce your child to the seemingly lost art of reading.

Writing and Composition

Reading and writing go hand in hand. We offer writing and composition courses as well as tutoring for all ages and levels of study. We find that most children come equipped with the imagination but lack the structure and technique to be able to write a well rounded essay. The college student, however, requires a reminder on imagination and time dedicated to the learning of the mechanics of writing. Let us guide your child in the process of becoming a proficient writer.
